In the past few years, climate risk has gone from a small niche under the ESG umbrella to a core financial risk. With research from GARP Risk Institute showing that nine out of ten firms expect their climate risk staffing to grow over the next two years, what is the best way for interested job candidates to stand apart from the crowd?

Obtaining GARP’s Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR®) Certificate demonstrates to organizations you have the knowledge and motivation to help them transition to a net-zero carbon future, improve their climate risk reporting, and deal with the uncertainties of tomorrow. Join Beth Gould Creller, SVP of certifications and educational programs at GARP, and a panel of climate risk leaders for a discussion of:

  • How the SCR Program supports a career in climate risk management for candidates around the world
  • Perspectives on topics covered in the SCR program — including sustainable finance, climate risk measurements, and scenario analysis — and how they’re impacting the practice of risk management
  • What you can expect as a sustainability and climate risk professional
