To earn your Certificate, you’ll need to pass a multiple-choice Exam based on the learnings in the RAI curriculum.
Candidates can study the curriculum and prepare for their Exam through our GARP Learning platform, accessible via the candidate portal. GARP Learning offers a streamlined outlet featuring multimedia content, real-world case studies, and a practice RAI Exam. With the flexibility to learn at your own pace from any location, candidates can also set up a study plan that optimizes their preparation schedule and accommodates work and life commitments.
The RAI Exam is an 80-question multiple-choice Exam covering a non-technical overview of common AI tools and techniques applied today, AI risk and risk factors, governance and more. Candidates will have four hours to complete it.
While the field of AI can be quantitative, the RAI Program is designed to be accessible to a wide range of candidates with diverse backgrounds and training. The level of mathematical difficulty is on par with an advanced undergraduate or introductory graduate level finance, statistics, or economics course at most universities.
Note: No coding or programming is required to work through the curriculum and pass the Exam.
The initial RAI Exam will be offered November 30 to December 8, 2024, at in-person, computer-based testing sites around the world. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opens August 1, 2024. More information on scheduling will be available soon.
