GARP will be making a series of key updates to our SCR Exam and curriculum for 2024. Starting with the October 2024 Exam, candidates can expect:
- An Exam of 90 questions and two case studies over four hours, rather than 80 questions and one case study over three hours
- To receive all curriculum updates via our GARP Learning platform only; the SCR eBook included with registration will NOT include any of these new learnings covered on the October SCR Exam
This information is applicable for all October 2024 exam candidates, including deferrals and retakes.

Due to local restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, GARP must postpone the upcoming FRM Part II Exams beginning November 24, 2022, in Wuhan, China. The FRM Exams will be deferred to May 2023.
Candidates should allow some time for the exam window on their Dashboard to be updated to reflect their deferral. Following this update, candidates will be able to log in and schedule their exam appointment. Exams are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Temperature checks will be conducted; your temperature must be less than or equal to 37.3C
- You are not allowed to leave Beijing within 7 days before the exam.
Candidates who do not follow these instructions will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay their exam fee when they re-register.

- If your tracking code shows you have not left Hangzhou, you must provide a negative NAT report 48hrs before your exam appointment.
- If your tracking code shows you traveled from other provinces to Hangzhou, you will need to provide a negative NAT report 24hrs before your exam appointment.

- You must show Normal Health Code and Track Code (Green Standing)
- If your tracking code shows you have not left Changsha, you must provide a negative NAT report 48hrs before your exam appointment
- If your tracking code shows you are travelling from other provinces into Changsha, you are required to finish the application on the “My Changsha” App or the WeChat app. In addition, you will need to provide 2 negative NAT reports. The first is 48 hours (two days) before each exam appointment, and the last is 24 hours (one day) before each exam appointment. All NAT tests need to be done in Changsha.

- Letter from your Local MOH office certifying that you are not currently undergoing any form of Quarantine or any restriction (IE Lockdown, home Quarantine etc) in your PHI area. This is a letter that your PHI issues, or your request letter certified by your PHI. The letter should be dated within 5 days before your exam date. To locate your local PHI you may go to https://phi.lk/find-your-public-health-inspector-sri-lanka.html.
- Complete an antigen test taken within 24 hours of the test.
Candidates who do not follow these instructions will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay their exam fee when they re-register.

In support of Ukraine and its citizens GARP will donate all proceeds received from FRM and SCR candidates currently registered for our programs in Russia, and any other income received from Russian individuals or companies, to relief efforts and organizations directly assisting the Ukrainian people. At present, this donation approximates $40,000. GARP also plans to cease the offering of its programs in Russia.

While GARP's upcoming November/December 2021 Exams scheduled in Sri Lanka will occur as planned, all candidates must obtain a letter from their local Ministry of Health certifying that they are not currently undergoing any form of quarantine or restrictions in their Public Health Inspector (PHI) area.
This is a letter that candidates can obtain from their local PHI, which they can find here. The letter must be issued and dated within five days of their scheduled exam date, and must be printed and shown upon checking in.
Candidates who do not present this letter will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay the exam fee when they re-register.

Candidates will need to fill it out in its entirety and give it to the proctor during check-in.
In addition, the local government mandates that all candidates located in Guangzhou provide a Nucleic Acid proof report valid 48 hours prior to their exam date/time and that all candidates located in Shenzhen provide a Nucleic Acid proof report valid 72 hours prior to their exam date/time.
Candidates who do not complete the Health Commitment Statement and/or do not provide the Nucleic Acid proof will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay the exam fee when they re-register.

Due to local COVID-19 requirements in Frankfurt, Germany, all candidates there taking the Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) Part I and Energy Risk Professional (ERP®) Part II Exams in May 2021 must:
- Wear an FFP2 mask upon arrival, during, and leaving the Exam
- Have written evidence of a negative COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) within 48 hours of their Exam
Note: There will be an official COVID-19 test station that administers free rapid antigen tests to candidates, with results available within 15-20 minutes. The station is a two-minute walk from your exam center. Appointments are available Monday through Saturday and can be booked online.
Candidates who do not follow the instructions provided above will not be allowed to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay the exam fee when you re-register.

Due to COVID-19 related regulations in Ireland, GARP must postpone its upcoming May 2021 Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) Part II Exam in that area.
All candidates registered and scheduled for the May Exam will automatically be registered for the December Exams, which will be based on the same curriculum.
Candidates should allow some time for the exam window on their Dashboard to be updated to reflect this deferral to December. Once this is reflected on their portal, candidates must log in and schedule their exam appointment. As a reminder, appointments are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Candidates must print the form, complete it in its entirety, bring it with them on exam day, and give it to their proctor during check-in. Anyone who does not complete the form will not be able to sit for the Exam will be required to pay the exam fee when they re-register.

Due to local requirements regarding COVID-19, all candidates taking the Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) Part II in Macau on May 15, 2021 must complete a Macao Health Code prior to sitting for the exam.
Candidates must complete the form on their mobile device the morning of their Exam. Anyone who does not complete the form will not be able to sit for the Exam. Additionally, your temperature will be taken when you arrive at the venue. The venue will follow the guidelines put in place by the Centre for Health Protection. If you do not meet the temperature requirement, you will not be allowed to enter and sit for the Exam.
