SCR Exam Logistics

Candidates must schedule 48 hours in advance of their chosen exam date, and may only schedule for the exam window they're registered for. Exams are offered via computer-based testing (CBT) and locations are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Depending on availability, candidates can reschedule their Exam and/or change their exam site using the Pearson VUE website. However, candidates may only make these changes up until 48 hours before their scheduled exam start time.

Candidates who do not pass the Exam, do not schedule the Exam, or schedule and do not sit can register for either of the next two available exam windows for a one-time reduced price of USD 350. Candidates who don't register for either of these windows will need to pay all applicable fees.

If the curriculum changes before the candidate retakes the Exam, an updated version of the curriculum will be made available to the candidate free of charge (via eBook only).

The SCR Exam is 80 multiple-choice questions and must be completed in 3 hours. To prepare for the Exam, visit our SCR study materials page.

Candidates who pass the Exam receive an electronic certificate of completion and a digital badge they can share on LinkedIn.

Due to COVID-19 and the increased distancing between candidates, exam sites may have less availability at this time. The status of sites is subject to change and capacity may increase.
