In this webcast, hear directly from the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures’ Technical Director as we take a closer look at their recommendations for nature risk management and disclosure.

Policy makers, regulators, asset owners, asset managers and leading global companies are all increasing their focus on nature. They are concerned not only with the risks from nature loss, but also with the challenge of scaling-up investments in nature.

In September 2023, after two years in design and development, the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) launched its final Recommendations for nature-related risk management and disclosure, which have already been adopted by 320 organisations from over 46 countries.

However, many firms are only just beginning to think about their impacts and dependencies on nature. That’s why in this session, we’ll be exploring:

  • What is nature-related risk, and how does it affect firms?
  • What is the TNFD’s mission, and what actions does it recommend firms take to help manage nature risk and pursue nature-related opportunities?
  • What tools and resources are available to help your firm develop their nature-related risk management capabilities?
