Join us for an exceptional GARP Chapter event hosted by Morgan Stanley, where the worlds of chess strategy and risk management meet. We are honoured to welcome Judit Polgár, the most successful female chess player of all time, for an inspiring discussion on how elite decision makers think ahead, stay resilient under pressure, and navigate uncertainty with confidence.
You will also hear from two distinguished speakers, Daniel Mayer, Head of Morgan Stanley and Péter Ács, Chess Grandmaster (formerly Morgan Stanley) who bring both chess mastery and deep professional risk expertise. The panel will cover the following:
- How foresight, adaptability, resilience, and calculated risk taking apply equally to portfolio management
- Strategic decision making under uncertainty
- Actionable lessons for risk professionals and peer connection
Throughout the evening, you’ll also have the chance to hear directly from world class thinkers, gain practical, actionable takeaways, and connect with peers across the risk community during an extended networking reception.
