Amsterdam: Basel regulations have been in place for as long as we can remember, but what is the current status with the new laws? While CRR3 is already live in Europe, and many other requirements are already in place, there are issues yet to be resolved. Banks still have many open questions regarding the new EBA mandates, the FRTB, and Basil implementation outside the EU, specifically in the US, UK, and Canada. Notably, Canada recently announced that it would no longer implement the Basil output floor, adding further complexity.
Join the GARP Netherlands chapter for an insightful discussion on the current state of Basel implementation and its impact on the local banking landscape. Some specific questions we will look to address include:
- EBA Level 2 Developments – When it comes to implementation the devil is in the details. What should banks anticipate?
- CRD Transposition in National Law
- Political landscape outside EU is creating divergence. Can a level playing field be maintained?
- How are industry experts addressing these uncertainties, preparing for future threats, and improving risk management practices?
Registration is required as seats are limited. Priority will be given to GARP Individual Members.
