Overview
Private credit has grown from a peripheral allocation to a systemically relevant segment of global credit markets. As bank intermediation has receded and private capital has stepped in to fill the gap, risk has migrated across institutions, balance sheets, and regulatory perimeters. For risk professionals, understanding how these dynamics affect credit quality, liquidity, valuation, and financial stability is critical.
Join us for a focused panel discussion examining private credit through a risk management lens. Three industry experts will analyze the market’s size and structure, assess emerging vulnerabilities, and explore forward-looking scenarios that could materially alter the risk profile of the asset class and its broader systemic footprint.
Topics will include:
- The structural drivers behind private credit’s rapid expansion
- Systemic implications in today’s credit environment
- Valuation, liquidity, default trends and the role of institutional capital
- Emerging and regulatory risks and what could challenge the current outlook
- The impact and risks of participation by retail investors and insurance companies
- Risk/Reward trade-offs in today’s private credit environment
This discussion will provide a balanced, analytically grounded perspective on where private credit stands today — and where it may be heading next.
