SCR Study Guide and Learning Objectives

The SCR Study Guide and Learning Objectives helps candidates self-study for the SCR Exam. It summarizes chapters from the official SCR curriculum and lists required online readings, the number of exam questions per chapter, and associated learning objectives.

GARP Learning

Accessible via the candidate portal on any device — mobile, tablet, or desktop computer — GARP Learning is a streamlined digital learning platform allowing SCR candidates to:

  • View the full SCR curriculum

  • Take a practice exam

  • Monitor study performance, create personalized study plans, and access GARP-produced videos

  • Test their knowledge with practice questions (not representative of actual SCR Exam questions) that coincide with each curriculum chapter

  • Study with our new optional SCR Climate Practical Applied Learning (PAL) tool, which offers practical, case-based applied learning

GARP Learning access is complimentary for SCR candidates.

SCR Printed Book

SCR Required Online Readings

In addition to the material in the official SCR Exam Book, the SCR Exam covers select online readings. These readings are required as part of a comprehensive SCR study plan and will be covered on the SCR Exam.
