Boston: Generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot can now write formulas, generate analyses, and help build financial models, but where do they genuinely add value and what risks should professionals consider when using them?
Join the GARP Boston Chapter for an interactive discussion with Ian Schnoor, CFA, CFM, Executive Director of the Financial Modeling Institute. Ian will cut through the hype surrounding AI and explore how financial professionals can use these tools to enhance productivity while maintaining appropriate oversight, sound judgment and confidence in model outputs.
Attendees will gain insights into:
- What AI can and cannot do in financial modeling
- Key risks associated with AI-generated models and how to manage them
- How to integrate AI thoughtfully into existing modeling practices
- Why human judgment and financial modeling expertise remain essential in an AI-enabled environment
The presentation will be followed by an audience Q&A and networking reception.
Registration is required as seats are limited. Priority will be given to GARP Individual Members.
