AI Risk Management and Governance: Building Responsible AI for the Financial Sector

Japan: AI is an evolving technology that the financial sector is rapidly incorporating into business activities and workflows. It is critical to understand, assess and manage the most important risks that are part of AI (and agentic AI) adoption. All organizations will need to develop knowledge and capacity to define and govern AI model risks that arise with each new use case.

We invite you to attend the GARP Japan Chapter meeting for an insightful presentation by Hang Qian and Carey Hsu from Oliver Wyman on building responsible AI for the financial sector. The discussion will focus on the evolving landscape of AI applications, risk and governance frameworks, and how professionals can learn, adapt and prepare themselves for these changes.  

Industry professionals from all parts of the financial sector, including banks, asset managers, securities firms, and insurers will benefit from the discussion. The first hour will be dedicated to the presentation, followed by a networking session where attendees can further discuss the topics and share their experiences.
