Japan: AI is an evolving technology that the financial sector is rapidly incorporating into business activities and workflows. As with any new technology, it is critical to understand, assess and manage the most important risks that are part of AI (and agentic AI) adoption. Each institution will need to develop knowledge to define and govern the AI model risks that are specific to their organization. As the integration of AI grows within each organization, risk professionals have a critical role to play in facilitating the identification and management of AI risk.
We invite you to attend the GARP Japan Chapter meeting for an insightful presentation by Hang Qian and Carey Hsu from Oliver Wyman on building responsible AI for the financial sector. The discussion will focus on the evolving landscape of AI applications, risk and governance frameworks, and how professionals can learn, adapt and prepare themselves for these changes.
This discussion will be of interest to risk professionals from all parts of the financial sector, including banks, asset managers, securities firms, and insurers. The first hour will be dedicated to the presentation, followed by a networking session where attendees can further discuss the topics and share their experiences.
This event will be hosted in English.
Registration is required as seats are limited. Priority will be given to GARP Individual Members.
