Join the GARP London Chapter for a thought-provoking panel discussion that will critically examine how we assess and counteract today’s cyber risk landscape.

This session will explore the latest cyber threats targeting the financial sector, including sophisticated attacks and emerging vulnerabilities. Our panellists will provide actionable strategies and best practices for mitigating these risks, emphasizing the importance of robust cybersecurity frameworks, proactive threat intelligence, and advanced analytical techniques.

The discussion will seek to re-calibrate our collective mindset from reactive response to proactive resilience. Security is not a product it is a process, and sustainable resilience stems not just from investment in controls, but from fostering a culture that can educate, prepare, test, and adapt.

The key topics to be discussed include:

  • The current state of cyber threats and their specific impact on a complex global system
  • Building and implementing effective cyber risk management frameworks and governance
  • Enhancing operational resilience and incident response capabilities
  • Navigating the regulatory landscape and compliance requirements for cybersecurity
  • Addressing the human factor in cyber risk through training and awareness

This is an excellent opportunity for risk professionals to gain crucial insights and practical takeaways to bolster their organizations' cyber defences, protect sensitive data, and ensure the security and stability of the financial ecosystem.

Registration is required as seats are limited. Priority will be given to GARP Individual Members.
