The Cryptocurrency Industry: Diverse Perspectives on Opportunities and Risks

Francisco Cuadros is a CFA Charterholder and specialist in digital assets with a focus on fundamental analysis, with more than 8 years of experience in digital assets, surpassing benchmark indices. Previously, he co-founded and managed a travel company with a turnover of €20M, leading a multinational team and developing algorithmic sales strategies based on big data. 

Guillermo Abellán has 18 years of experience as a Director within the Banco Santander group with a strong orientation towards risk analysis. As a Fintech entrepreneur, he developed the first Equity Crowdfunding platform with a risk algorithm to evaluate entrepreneurs and startups. He has a degree in Economics from the University of Alicante. 

Oscar Ferruz is an experienced business leader with a solid track record in the internet, fintech and technology industries. Throughout his career, he has played key roles in defining and implementing growth strategies, operations optimization and digital transformation in high-impact companies.  

Currently, he is General Manager at Criptan, where he leads the expansion strategy, optimization of operations and income diversification, with a focus on organizational efficiency and entry into markets such as LATAM. His previous experience includes leadership positions at StubHub (an eBay company), BeRepublic, Planedia, Peixe Urbano and Groupalia, where he has developed global market strategies, innovation and operations. 

Fernando advises on financial regulation to credit institutions, investment companies and insurance companies, including the establishment of funds (including UCITS funds, AIF funds and securitization funds). This includes purely regulatory advice and transactions with regulated entities (including, without limitation, acquisition of regulated entities, inclusion of management teams). He also has extensive experience in advising on crypto assets. 

Fernando has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) awarded by the University of California, Berkeley (fully funded with a scholarship from the Caja Madrid Foundation, currently the Montemadrid Foundation).  

Paco Ducha has more than 20 years’ experience in the IT sector, collaborating with leading companies such as Telefonica, AENA, France Telecom, Orange, BBVA and TRAGSA. 

A pioneer in blockchain technology since 2017, he has developed and collaborated with global reference Web3 projects such as LIDO, ENS, Ethereum Foundation and Stader, among others. Co-founder of Stakely, a leading staking infrastructure services company that manages more than $1.5 billion in digital assets, where he serves as Head of Ethereum and strategic technology analyst.
