Climate Reality Check: from Risk to Resilience, Recap 2026
We’re more than halfway through what we’ve called the “decisive decade”, and this year’s Climate and Nature Risk Symposium covered a broad range of in-depth conversations with practitioners, regulators, and academics over two days addressing key challenges and potential solutions in climate risk management.
The first day featured keynotes from climate scientists and panels on financial regulation, model risk, and climate adaptation, along with sessions on emerging risks like food insecurity, tipping points, and transition derailment. The second day followed with keynotes on climate and agent-based modelling, closing with sessions on resilience and bridging finance with the real economy.
Looking Ahead
Planning is already underway for the 2027 Climate and Nature Risk Symposium. Next year's event will build on this momentum, bringing new voices, deeper technical content, and further opportunities to advance climate and nature risk management practice across the industry. Stay tuned for details.
