Leveraging Technology to Manage, Measure, and Mitigate Climate Risk in ESG Risk Management Frameworks

Monika comes with over 22 years of professional experience in various risk management domains, including cybersecurity, operational risk, transition risk and third-party risk management, having worked with financial institutions across Asia, Americas and Europe. Currently serving as the Head of the Centre of Excellence for operational risk management in India for one of the large global banks, she has established herself as a leader in the industry.

Monika holds a dual Post Graduate Diploma in Enterprise Risk Management from ICFAI University and the Institute of Risk Management (IRM), London. Monika is a certified SCR and has a certificate in Sustainability from Cambridge University.

Labanya is a seasoned professional in the field of sustainable finance. He is currently serving as a Sustainable Finance Consultant with The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) and is an Advisor at the Climate and Sustainability Initiative (CSI) and Climate Trends. Prior to this, he led the Centre for Sustainable Finance at the Climate Policy Initiative (CPI). He has previously held key roles such as the Regional Climate Finance Adviser, Indo-Pacific Region at the Commonwealth Secretariat and Sustainable Finance Consultant at UNDP.

He is also the co-author of the book, “Net-Zero Trio: Synchronizing Technology, Business, and Policy for Green Transition,” published by Bloomsbury. Labanya holds a Master’s in Economics from Utkal University, is a certified SCR and a CFA charter holder.
