As a bank security expert, his primary foucus was managing operational security by identifying, assessing, and controlling legal, regulatory, human and IT security risks. He also played a key role in developing action and monitoring plans and providing training for internal and external audiences. 

Currently as a member of CSEKK (Anti-Fraud Competence Center), we focuses on external and internal fraud reporting and data analysis, identifying trends and enhancing fraud prevention. 

Zoltan graduated as an IT engineer and later on earned a degree in Economics at the SZTE University of Szeged.

Head of Prudential Modelling Department, Magyar Nemzeti Bank

Zoltan Monostori heads the Prudential Modelling Department of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB). He is responsible for the capital and liquidity risk assessment, business model analysis and stress testing of the Hungarian credit institutions. 

Previously, he has worked at the financial market analysis department of the MNB, Penn State University and the risk department of Morgan Stanley in different expert and management roles. He holds a Ph.D. degree, as well as CFA and FRM designations.
