London: The adoption of digital currencies will reshape the global economy and create significant changes in the banking landscape. Financial institutions are poised to realize myriad benefits from blockchain technology including increased efficiency, reduced costs, and innovation, among others. However, the risks associated with such change, disintermediation, liquidity, regulatory, market, and more, must be proactively addressed for financial institutions to remain instrumental in the global financial landscape.

Join the GARP London Chapter as our panel of leading risk managers cover:

  • The impact of Central Bank Digital Currencies on the global economy
  • The risks associated with integrating tokenized assets into core banking activities
  • Blockchain technology as an immutable ledger
  • Deployment of risk-based security strategies
