A damaged reputation can take years to recover and lead to huge financial damages, as well as the loss of trust from customers, employees, investors, regulators, auditors, business partners, and stakeholders. Mitigating ethical risk means sound judgment and excellent leadership. It is not enough to comply with the minimum applicable laws and regulations; we must live up to society’s expectations on how to create returns and reduce reputational and financial risk in the short and long term. We will discuss ethical risk management and its many related areas in “Ethical Risks in Finance: Reality, Analysis, and Navigation”.

Topics discussed will include:

  • Exploring the relationship correlation between risk management and ethics
  • Identifying ethical risks in practical scenarios
  • Thinking models for mitigating ethical risk

Registration is required as seats are limited. Priority will be given to GARP Individual Members.
