US Regulatory Outlook: The Beginning of the End

American banks have had to deal with quite a bit of uncertainty because of regulatory delays. However, in 2014, we should finally see the regulatory needle move forward with (1) the finalization of the liquidity coverage ratio (LCR); (2) the finalization of the US supplementary leverage ratio; and (3) the proposed rule-making of a risk-based capital charge for the US G-SIBs. PwC discusses how we arrived at this stage, and explains what these new rules will look like.
