GARP has made a series of key updates to our Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR®) Exam and curriculum for the October 2024 administration. Here’s what candidates, including deferrals and retakes, need to know:
The October 2024 SCR Exam features 90 questions and two case studies over four hours, rather than 80 questions and one case study over three hours. For more information on pricing, please see the "Pricing Breakdown" table below.
The October 2024 SCR Exam covers 10 chapters instead of eight. However, the complimentary SCR eBook included with registration only includes Chapters 1-8. To view Chapters 9 and 10 as well as access other learning resources to further their climate journey, candidates can use our GARP Learning platform. For more information on preparing for the SCR Exam, please visit our study materials page.
The October SCR Exam window starts October 19 and ends November 2. For more information on registering and scheduling your Exam as well as relevant deadlines, please visit our exam logistics page.
Early and standard registration prices have increased by USD 75 for SCR Exam candidates, with the exception of deferrals (increase by USD 50) and retakes (no increase). For a full pricing breakdown, see below.
