Cyber threats such as hacks, phishing, ransom and malware, affect all of us, both personally and professionally. These same threats are prevalent in our financial systems as well. The traditional “last line of defense role” played by IT-departments is long gone in most organizations.

Today top management must also understand and support the implementation of systems to safeguard and manage the complexities associated with cyber-threats, the integration of artificial intelligence, 3rd party vendor failures, and other technology driven operational risks that can threaten the resilience of their organization.

Data protection laws such as AVG and GDPR are in place to help protect our personal data, and lawmakers are developing and implementing new regulations like NIS2 and DORA help build guardrails and risk frameworks to strengthen technology defenses and operational resilience.

Join us for an interactive discussion that will address several key questions, including:

  • How can our risk practices be improved?
  • How can we better defend and respond to current technology driven threats?
  • What industry practices are recommended to ensure we’re prepared for future threats?

This event will be hosted in Dutch.

Registration is required as seats are limited. Priority will be given to GARP Individual Members.
