FRM Exam Preparation Provider

EDGE Education is an examination preparation provider aimed at assisting working professionals get further in their career. We provide ‘live’ classroom trainings for the following programs:

• Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Part I and Part II
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1, Level 2, Level 3
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Part I and Part II
• Aviation Maintenance Engineering, Basic License I, Basic License II, Limitation Removal

A unique feature about our classroom training is that it is based on a ‘write & learn’ concept.

Students are provided a workbook containing open-ended or MCQ style questions. Candidates are encouraged to solve questions whilst in class and participate in discussions to aid their understanding of the subject material.

With only 10 students per batch allows EDGE students to experience individual attention, increased classroom participation, peer group interactive learning, critical thinking, self-expression, and self-confidence to pass the exam!!

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

For FRM Part I & II, EDGE Education provides Exam Prep in 2 formats:

1) Professional Course

• A 3 to 4 month program that covers 84 to 90 hours of instructor-led classroom training across 28 classroom sessions.
• The course is aimed at providing a full in-depth review of all learning objectives in the FRM curriculum across each assigned reading.
• The classes are kept interactive with live examples, problem solving and discussion of current news.
• The lecture slides (course material) is built in-house by Certified FRMs and updated each year to keep relevant to the changing curriculum.
• Students are provided with 4 to 5 progress tests to allow for concept testing and ensure they are on track with their course completion.
• Students are given a free Texas BA II plus calculator to aid their exam preparation (FRM Part 1 students only)
• Access to EDGE’s online portal with a question bank of 500+ MCQ available to students to practice concept understanding whilst attending classes.
• Students are also provided with 4 hours worth of free private sessions with instructor to clear doubts and discuss problem topic areas.
• Course is taught by Certified FRMs who have completed their FRM exams and passed the experience requirements.

2) Revision Course

• A 6 day crash course consisting of 5 days of training i.e. 8 hours a day (total 40 training hours) and a 4 hour Mock Exam on the 6th day.
• The revision course is aimed at brisk concept revision and solving 350 MCQ questions in class.
• The key feature of this course is to help students build exam-taking skills, practice time management and revisit key concepts in the FRM curriculum.
• This course is ideal for candidates who are re-taking the FRM exam, having self-studied the curriculum and/or attended EDGE Education’s Professional course.
• The course is taught by Certified FRMs who have completed their FRM exams and satisfied the GARP work experience requirements.

EDGE Education prides itself in keeping batch sizes to no more than 10 persons. This is to allow for more personal attention and provide candidates a chance to discuss and engage in interactive learning.

Classes are provided over weekends (Fri/Sat) and/or evening hours during weekdays (Sun – Thurs)

All students are provided access to quiet study rooms equipped with desktops and personal study areas.

Students are also offered free support if they need assistance navigating the GARP website and/or registering for exams.

NOTE: EDGE does not register students for the exams. This is done by the student him/herself. EDGE merely guides the candidate through the process.
