2012 FRM® Course Program
For the 2012 FRM exams the following live and on-line courses
are offered:
May Exams
- weekday evening class for the FRM Exam Part I from January to
May
- on-line course for the FRM Exam Part I
November Exams
- pre-FRM finance class from May to June
- weekday evening class for the FRM Exam Part I from August to
November
- four-day intensive review classes for the FRM Exam Part I and
Part II in October
- on-line course for the FRM Exam Part I
This range of course options allows FRM candidates to choose the
alternative that best suits their work and study schedules. The
courses are structured according to the 2012 FRM outline (AIM
Statements of GARP) and give an excellent framework to prepare for
the exam.
Study Material
CfBS has developed comprehensive handouts containing all AIMs,
corresponding concepts, and exam-type questions. This study
material will be distributed and used during the lessons to explain
and practice the concepts. The handouts are a summary of the FRM
Core Readings and can be used to efficiently review the curriculum
in the final stages of the exam preparation.
On-line Review
The FRM live classes will be recorded, allowing course
participants to make up for any missed classes and to revisit
on-line the topics explained in class. In addition, students
benefit from ongoing e-mail and phone support outside the
classroom.
