Lawyers to Boards: Get a Handle on Risk

Corporate directors in recent months have gotten an earful from governmental, academic and other quarters about how they need to learn from the financial crisis and get more involved and up to speed on risk management matters. But they may not yet have seen anything quite so weighty as the 26-page, 10,000-word boom that an American Bar Association task force lowered in August.
