Bridging the Gap:

Global Association of Risk Professionals, Inc. (GARP) has taken steps to help reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19. However, COVID-19 is understood to be contagious and spread mainly by person-to-person contact. Therefore, attending any in- person event with other, including your attendance at this event (“Event”), could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19. GARP cannot guarantee that you will not contract COVID-19 or any other illness at the Event.

By registering for this Event, you agree that:

• you will not attend the Event if you are feeling unwell or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19;
• you will comply with all current federal, state, and local laws, orders and guidelines related to the Event and COVID-19 as well as any procedures put in place by GARP or the Event venue, in its reasonable discretion, including, but not limited to, proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, social distancing, hand sanitization and wearing a facemask (covering your nose and mouth) at all times at the Event site.

You further acknowledge and agree to the following Release and Waiver of Liability:

In consideration of participating in the Event at the Event site, you release GARP from all liability. You agree that you are fully aware of the risks associated with COVID-19 and voluntarily assume any risk of exposure to or infection by COVID-19 or any other communicable illness at the Event site and that such exposure could result in personal injury, illness, hospitalization, or death. You understand that, despite any steps GARP may have taken to limit risk, you may be exposed to COVID-19 or other communicable illnesses as a result of the actions, omissions, or negligence of others, including GARP, other Event attendees, or Event site employees.

You knowingly and voluntarily assume such risks, known and unknown, relating to attendance at the Event site and hereby forever release, waive, discharge, relinquish, hold harmless, and covenant not to sue GARP or its officers, directors, managers, employees, agents, contractors, or other representatives, or their successors or assigns (collectively, “GARP”), from any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses of any kind, whether known or unknown (“Damages”) arising out of or relating to your attendance at the Event site, including, but not limited to those Damages related to the risks listed above of personal injury, illness, hospitalization, or death, or any other loss, and including but not limited to alleged claims of acts, omissions, or negligence of GARP.

In-Person Passes (Individual)

You may cancel your full Convention access for any reason within 48 hours of completing your registration. Cancellations must be received in writing and are subject to a 20% administrative fee. Please note: We can only accept full cancellations within this 48-hour window after registration.

If you can no longer attend the convention in person after your 48-hour window but would still like to attend virtually, you can cancel your in-person access until May 17, 2022 and receive a partial refund less the current published cost of a virtual pass.

If you can no longer attend the convention in any capacity you can have a colleague attend in your place at no charge by completing a written substitution by May 20, 2022. Only one valid login will be provided per registration for access to the event platform.

In-Person Passes (Team)

You may cancel your full Team Convention access for any reason within 48 hours of completing your registration. Cancellations must be received in writing and are subject to a 20% administrative fee. Please note: We can only accept full cancellations within this 48-hour window after registration.

If your full team can no longer attend the convention in-person after your 48-hour window but would still like to attend virtually, you can cancel the team's in-person access until May 17, 2022 and receive a partial refund less the current published cost of a virtual pass.

If one of your team members can no longer attend the convention in any capacity you can have a colleague attend in their place at no charge by completing a written substitution by May 20, 2022. Only one valid login will be provided per registration for access to the event platform.

Payment must be processed to guarantee participation at the event. Note: Prices are subject to change and you will be charged the current price published on our website at the time of payment.

Payments not submitted for the EMEA and APAC virtual events by Friday, February 25, 2022 must be paid by credit card; check and wire transfer will not be accepted at that time. Participants who have not paid by the event date will be required to pay by credit card in order to receive access to the event.

Payments not submitted for the New York hybrid event by Tuesday, May 17, 2022 must be paid by credit card; check and wire transfer will not be accepted at that time. Participants who have not paid by the event date will be required to pay by credit card in order to receive access to the event.
