If a candidate wishes to sit for the Exam in the future, he/she must complete an additional registration application and pay all applicable fees.
Once successfully registered, candidates must adhere to the Candidate Responsibility Statement, which includes being bound by the GARP Code of Conduct.
Candidates have 48 hours after their Exam Registration to submit a refund request. All refund requests must be received via email to memberservices@garp.com.
To gain admission to the Exam site on Exam day, candidates must present two items:
A government issued passport or driver's license.
A Printed Admission Ticket
There are NO exceptions to GARP's Identification Policy, regardless of what form of identification a candidate may have used in past Exam administrations. If a candidate arrives on Exam day without an original, valid and non-expired government issued passport or driver's license, they will not be allowed to sit for the Exam.
Only the following types of business calculators are authorized for use on GARP's Exams. There will be no exceptions to this policy. Should a candidate use a non-authorized calculator at any time during the Exam, their Exam will not be graded.

(including the HP 12C Platinum, 12C Platinum 25th Anniversary Edition, 12C 30th Anniversary Edition, and HP12C Prestige)
Texas Instruments BA II Plus
(including BA II Plus Professional)
Candidates may bring two (2) authorized calculators to the Exam. However, only one may be on the candidate's desk at any time. The second calculator must be turned completely off and placed facedown under the candidate's seat. Note: If a proctor does not identify an unauthorized calculator prior to or during the Exam, this does not imply that the calculator may be used.
The following items MUST be kept on the candidate's table or desk during the Exam:
The following items MAY be kept on the candidate's desk during the Exam.
The following items may be kept UNDER a candidate's seat during the Exam, preferably in a transparent bag.
Coats, bags, luggage, etc., or any other miscellaneous items must be placed in an area designated by the proctor. Candidates will not have access to these items during the Exam.
Neither GARP, the exam site, exam personnel nor vendors will assume responsibility or liability for any stolen, lost or damaged private property left in this area.
Proctors and security personnel may ask to inspect candidates' belongings before, during, or after the Exam to ensure that prohibited items are not available in the Exam building. All Exam materials, including the Admission Ticket(s), are the sole property of GARP.

A candidate may bring one (1) cellular phone into the exam room. It must be turned completely off (airplane mode is not sufficient) and placed facedown under the candidate's seat.
If a candidate's cellular phone emits any type of noise (e.g., ring, beep, etc.) during the Exam, the candidate will not be allowed to continue with the Exam, the candidate's answer sheet will be collected (and will not be graded) and the proctor will escort the candidate from the exam room. This will apply if the cellular phone is in the exam room or in the designated personal belonging area.
All candidates must sign and date the Candidate Agreement on the front cover of the Exam. Failure to do so may result in an Exam Policy Violation.
Any activity that compromises the integrity or validity of the Exam, including any activity or misconduct before, during, or after the administration of the Exam would be considered a violation of GARP's Exam Policies.
If a candidate's actions result in an Exam Policy Violation, the exam materials may be collected, and the candidate may be dismissed from the exam room and site. A supervisor or proctor will complete an Exam Policy Violation Report and send the report to GARP. Should GARP determine that the action resulted in a violation of our Exam Policy, the following will occur:
If you would like to request your exam result to be manually retabulated the fee for such service is 100 USD. Requests for retabulation of your exam will only be considered within 30 days of the exam results being released.
To request a retabulation:
The retabulation process is not an appeals process, nor a re-grading service, nor will it change the grades on your individual answers. In fact, the retabulation process confirms that your answers were recorded and totaled correctly.
Just as a reminder, candidates should not attempt to interpret an overall passing or failing exam result from the quartiles result that was provided. The exam result is determined by many factors and is not predetermined nor is it a specific percentage of the points either for individual modules areas or for the entire exam. The exam results are determined by the FRM/ERP Committee(s). All exam materials, including answers, are the property of GARP and will not be returned to you in either original or copied form.
A GARP Exam Administrator will pull your answer sheet and exam booklet; where they will verify your information which includes your name, GARP ID, Candidate ID and manually compare your marked answers to the answer key. If you changed an answer (bubbled in two answers for one question) to a specific question we will ensure that the question was graded based on the letter you put on the Final Answer column. We will then reconfirm the exam result was recorded and totaled correctly and the exam result is reflected in your GARP Portal. Please allow GARP up to 2 weeks for processing.
Your exam result is determined solely by the marks read by the scanning equipment. It is your responsibility to complete your answer sheet correctly to ensure all information is accurately recorded during grading. Failure to follow instructions may affect how the scanning machine reads and records your information.
We will not adjust any answers if:
