ICBRR Exam Preparation & Processes
Candidates should have a fundamental
understanding of banking, finance, and the technical terms
commonly used in banking and risk management.
To complete the program and to obtain the
International Certificate in Banking Risk and Regulation,
candidates will be required to pass a single exam
that consists of 80 multiple choice questions and will last
170 minutes. An additional 5 minutes will be provided for the
candidates to read and acknowledge the Non-Disclosure Agreement
(NDA) that is also provided online for the candidates to
read prior to the start of the examination. To
ensure the highest degree of accomplishment, a candidate will need
to answer 54 questions correctly in order to pass. Candidates have
ample time to prepare for the exam. All candidates are
required to sit for the ICBRR Exam within nine months of
registering for the program.
The Certificate exam can be taken at any
time within 9 months of registering for the program, and is given
electronically through Pearson VUE test centers located across the

Successful candidates of the International
Certificate in Banking Risk and Regulation will demonstrate a
knowledge and understanding of risk management methodologies,
governance structures for the management of risk in banks, and the
regulatory principles outlined by the Basel Committee on Banking
Supervision.
