Sponsorship
"In person events are considered the
number one marketing tactic used to effectively build brand image
and generate qualified leads," according to The Power of Events
published by American Business Media.
While the full implications of the global
financial crisis continue to emerge and regulators impose more
stringent requirements on financial services organizations around
the world, the executives tasked with managing risk have assumed
vastly greater responsibilities. Never has the role of the risk
manager been as important as it is today. GARP Events provide
highly educational, focused meeting opportunities with these
important decision makers.
Whether you're looking for a comprehensive
package that includes branding, awareness, active involvement in
helping to develop the learning agenda, or just a basic exhibitor
package, we have a package to satisfy the marketing goals of your
organization. At GARP, we spend just as much time in registering
and educating our members as you do in creating and keeping your
customers. Add the attention to detail of the GARP Events team, and
our approach to building and delivering on custom-tailored
packages, and you have a recipe for what marketers need, want and
value -- a cost effective way of broadening your reach and ensuring
your organization is known for its thought leadership.

GARP Events are delivered in a variety of
ways including:
Now in its 14th year, the Global Association
of Risk Professionals' Annual Risk Management Convention is well
established as one of the most anticipated gatherings of
international risk management professionals. The Convention
convenes over 600 participants - leading CRO's, heads of risk
management, risk management executives, government policy makers
and leading academics - for two days of in-depth discussion and
debate and the sharing of the latest best practices in the global
risk management sector. The Annual Risk Management Convention is
open to multiple sponsors and exhibitors. For more information,

GARP's full-day and half-day conferences,
forums and master classes are highly educational, practice-driven
events focusing on current market concerns, new risk management
regulations, best practice risk management and educational topics
in the risk management arena.
Produced with the collaboration and input of
the GARP Content Committee, these meetings present a valuable
outlook on current practices in risk management and are designed to
give experienced risk professionals from a diverse background the
opportunity to debate, discuss, and share their points-of-view on
emerging risk management topics and share insights into setting
strategic direction and risk management strategies. GARP
Conventions, Conferences and Forums are open to multiple sponsors
and exhibitors.

GARP has developed an Executive Briefing
program to facilitate open and informed dialogue on among qualified
risk professionals on current and emerging issues in risk
management in a format that is easy for busy risk professionals to
access, and short enough that participants do not to have to take a
day out of the office.
Executive Briefings are hosted by one
organization and are designed for an average audience of 30
qualified risk decision makers (Commercial, Investment and Retail
Banks along with Asset Management companies). A typical Executive
Briefing will include continental breakfast followed by a two-hour
panel discussion.
Designed with a sole sponsor in mind, GARP
has developed an invitation-only Executive Roundtable program to
bring select, senior risk professionals together to discuss and
debate emerging issues on risk management in a forum that
facilitates uncensored and respectful dialogue on current and
controversial topics. Roundtables may be structured as open or
closed Roundtables depending on desired participant interaction and
access.
