About GARP Events

The Global
Association of Risk Professionals is a global, not-for-profit
membership organization dedicated to preparing professionals and
organizations to make better informed risk decisions. The mission
of GARP Events is to advance the knowledge of risk practitioners
worldwide by delivering the critical intelligence they need to
immediately improve job performance, enhance their understanding
and knowledge of the latest risk management thinking, and learn

The Global Association of Risk
Professionals' Annual Risk Management Convention held in New York
City, is now firmly established as one of the most anticipated
gatherings of international risk management professionals. The
Convention hosted over 650 participants -- leading CRO's, heads of
risk management, risk management executives, government policy
makers and leading academics -- for two days of in-depth discussion
and debate and the sharing of the latest best practices in the
global risk management sector.
GARP's one day and half-day conferences,
forums and master classes are highly educational, practice-driven
events focusing on current market concerns, new regulations, best
practice risk management and educational topics that affect the
role of the risk manager on a daily basis.
Produced with the collaboration and input of
the GARP Content Committee, these meetings present a valuable
outlook on current practices in risk management. They are designed
