ERP Exam Topic Areas
The ERP Exam is designed in conjunction with the Energy Oversight Committee (EOC), a group of distinguished risk professionals and academics with a wide range of professional backgrounds whose expertise covers the full range of disciplines covered by the ERP Exam. Current EOC members include practitioners from both the physical and financial markets with expertise in risk consulting, commodity trading, risk management, and quantitative analysis.
The topics selected reflect those that certified energy risk professionals should master. The ERP Exam is designed to measure not only how well a candidate is able to retain relevant information about topics affecting risk management in the energy sector, but also how well they are able to apply that knowledge to questions that mimic real-world energy risk management scenarios. All topics in the curriculum are reviewed annually to ensure the ERP Exam remains timely and relevant.
